Gary William Cunha graduated from Baylor University School of Law with a Doctor of Jurisprudence
Degree. He is the 1998 Justice Norvell Memorial Award winner and the 2004 Republican nominee for District Judge. He has
practiced bankruptcy law in the Waco, Texas area for 10 years, representing debtors and creditors in the Western District of Texas,
Waco Division.
Mr. Cunha is licensed by the State Bar of Texas and the Eastern, Northern, and Western Districts of Texas.
He
is married to Stephanie and they have one son, Will.
His grandfather Edward Cunha graduated from Stanford University with his
law degree in 1908. His father William Cunha graduated with Stanford University with his medical degree after playing baseball
for the Stanford Cardinal.
